It has been a great day!  We went to our local community yard sale and there was a huge turnout of shoppers and lots of people putting their things outside for us to browse.  It was chilly though, good thing I brought a sweater.  We ended up with some  photo albums to fill, a vintage small  lamp, ( I should have taken its picture, but will by and by) and some John Grisham audio books, which were only 25 cents each and hard to pass up. So I didn't =)  Plus two books about Queen Elizabeth and a few others.  I have a wonderful time anywhere nice books are sold.  I look forward to these community yard sales every summer, I'm sure many of you do too.  It is so enjoyable to shop the neighborhood plus enjoy various flower beds as you walk along.  The weather seems more like fall these days than summer....but it will be back soon with those 80 degree temps.

My knitting is coming along well and is really fun.  Next week I'll post a picture of the slipper I'm making.  I think its the prettiest thing!  I'm almost done with this one and I can soon start its mate.

This display was so pretty.  I have a love for embroidered doilies that is big!  My collection of them just grows and grows.  Warmest wishes for a Blessed Sunday!   Maggie Ann.

'Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise; be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

For the Lord is good; his mercy  is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.'  Psalms 100:4 & 5
