I have just joined up with a group of ladies who promise to try and craft or sew 20 minutes every day. Fiona of Marmaladerose started this group about a year ago. Her post is full of lovely things she has made! I hope you go over to visit, you'll be sure to see something that catches your fancy. Well, .... I sure need motivation! Without a challenge...I tend to sit back and not get much (anything) done.

Tonight, I cross-stitched for my 20 minutes or so. This poor snowman was probably so surprised to see the light of day, he just might be throwing his arms up in fright! Ah, well, he'll soon be done up all pretty. Maybe a little pillow or something. Are you working on a special project? Now I have the 20 minute challenge...and a set of pillows to sew up, (can't wait to see how they turn out)...and I am reaching for the stars! I bought some shirting material to make...gulp...a white blouse. It just keeps coming to mind....sew a blouse...will I though? We will see.

I knew as soon as I saw this fabric, it was perfect for our living room, and just what I wanted. Usually I have a time of it making up my mind, but not this time. Maybe I'm maturing? grin.

I just bought this pillow book after being quite taken with one of the pillow patterns. Really what I loved was the rose fabric...so much that it inspired me to buy some gorgeous floral upholstery fabric to make a couple of pillows for the couch. The other book is on loan from the library. It has a really interesting fabric 'rope' necklace I want to make. So much to do, so little time ..lol.

"Finally, brethern, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." Philippians 4:8

Thinking of things that are pure and lovely, I am reading the sweetest book. I downloaded it free of cost from Amazon. Two sweetest books really, "Me and Nobbles" by Amy LeFeuvre. She also wrote "Probable Sons". I finished it the other day. They will both bless your heart. Faith through a child's eyes. Just precious!

Good evening Maggie Ann, :0) I love your new header, as I read it again, I thought ..... is the cello still in tune? Do you play? I haven't done much on a special 20 minuter for ages .... I have been busy with quilt tops and flood toys, but really any 20 minutes I give to that special time it is for my hexagons.
I do like the fabric you have chosen, it looks warm and cozy .... just right for an English sitting room at the moment!!
have a blessed weekend,
