Here's what I've been doing...knitting away on this sweater. I'm getting close to starting the cast-ons for the arms. I put the other picture of its beginnings on so you could see the difference. This is the back of it. I just wiped up the kitchen floor and some of the hardwoods. Good feeling to have worked in addition to knitting..grin. Someone from our guild gave this link for dyeing yarn with kool-aid. I think its a good link, informative and interesting. Something I want to try in the future. The news this week is so sad...the earthquake in Peru, and the Utah mine tragedy. Heartbreaking for those people. I hope & pray lots of relief pours in for the poor people in Peru. Then some good news was the announcement of the Canadian lady who gave birth to 4 identical baby girls!... with no fertility drugs either! I simply must hurry off line....ahhhh, too bad, I was having such a nice time and wanted to come visiting, but my husband has been able to leave work early to go with me to my Dr.'s appt. & I have things to do before he gets here. What fun, I love not having to drive and he has said he will take me out to the knit shop for fun afterwards. It is in such a dangerous location I'm afraid I would kill myself trying to get safely on the road again...(and so is he....grin). Better run, if you are here...thanks for stopping by.

If they can dye yarn with kool-aid just think of what it does to our insides. Eww.

Such tragedies of late. Everywhere, there is heartache. Praying His mercies for them.

Have a wonderful time at the knit shop. Cross stitch is calling me.

What is kool aid anyway? Is it a type of juice?

I love it when my hubby s free to drive me to all the downtown places I hate to go!

Now I cant think of anything more boring than a knit shop but knowing you it's probably better than a kid in the candy shop! lol
