Friends, I am having mega problems with Blogger publishing my entire post contents. Sorry for the inconvenience. This is twice now I have typed the awards out. So, to Marlene, Marie, Senkyoshi, Saija and Connie...I hope Blogger corrects the post content in full. I don't know what else to do. Here are the awards in a nutshell. Yes, daughter has remained small. But I do remember that the waist on the Victorian wedding gown was tight. :-)

Poor you, with packing and stitches removed and all. -sigh- I'm sure your out-to-dinner food selection will be limited. I think you're marvelous, having this company, with these issues. I'd want to just rest, rest, rest. And not entertain.

smilnsigh said...: Yes, The Adelphi is an old Victorian Hotel. And in this city, our old places are preserved.

They weren't always, and many things were lost. But for about 30 years, preservation has been the word. :-)

And that's why I love to put up photos of my city, since I'm so proud of it.

You notice I don't name my city. -sigh- My extended family didn't want me to give out too much information, on the Net. And I agree, to a certain extent. I never put family pictures up, in my blogs. Only relatively recently, did I showed a pic of me and one of my husband. But no pictures of our children or grandchildren. No license plates show, in pics of our vehicles. Etc.

But I'm convincing them, that to name our city, in my Photos-City-Mine blog, wouldn't be all that terrible. :-)

My Testimony

I was saved when I was 32 years old. We had evangelistic meetings the week of Mother's Day. When asked by the evangelist if I died tonight would I be sure I would go to heaven. I answered...'I hope so'. He answered, 'young lady, heaven is a 'know so' place'. He asked me to sit up front the next day in church, and the message was 'Hell will be filled with 'good' people'. The first one third of the message I sat in the pew and reviewed to God and myself what a 'good' person I really was. Not! The Holy Spirit of God brought conviction to my heart so vividly, that I clearly remember not needing to hear any more of the sermon. God's word had reached ME! I was a sinner on my way to Hell. I couldn't wait to go forward and pray, accepting Christ as my Saviour. I believed on him that day and received Him personally by repentance and prayer, confessing my need of salvation. Hell will be filled with good people all right, BUT good only in their own eyes. God alone is sinless and 'good'.

"ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God". Romans 3:23 "For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is mad unto salvation.

Romans 10: 9 & 10 Verse 13 says this, 'for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.' John 1:12 & 13 says, 'But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name, which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.'
