Hurray for blogger! I thought for a minute there it wasn't working tonight. Yesterday we had a tea party, and it was so much fun. My friend got a vintage Nancy Drew boardgame for Christmas. It was manufactured and for sale when she was 5 years old. It was in excellent condition. Her son got it via ebay =), and she LOVES it. After we had our tea, we cleared the table and played 2 games. We had such a nice time. Then later in the evening, I washed up the cups and things and we had another little teaparty when another special friend came by. It gave me pleasure to set out the pretty dishs. The silverplated spoons you can see in the picture are a new find. My daughter & I were in an antique shop and she found me 7 of these beauties for $3.00! Oh happy day, was I glad! The teapot was a Christmas gift, and a beauty. My son bought me some plates to match. My daughter got me the vintage teacups and saucers...would you believe Homer Laughlin company stuff? I'm so pleased, I feel guiltly. Well, not entirely...grin. I did make up one handkerchief sachet, but didn't have time to get a picture. I wrapped it up for a gift for someone who shares my birthday. We will be away for about a week....so if I get to post, probably no picture. But I will be looking forward to coming by to visit you all when I get back. If you are a person of prayer, we covet safe travel mercies! I dread those long car rides, but enjoy myself immensley once I'm there. Are you like that too? And the ride back home seems soooo much longer. Why is that I wondor? Untill then;

"Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me; and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God". Psalms 50:23 I'm so thankful to know for sure that I am saved from the judgement to come, by God's grace. I'm glad too that the latchstring is still out for any who will heed his word and repent and come to the saving knowledge of Christ. Hallelujah, what a Saviour!!!

Hello Maggie Ann,

I enjoyed your pictures. Those plates are so pretty and your tea party! Thanks for sharing the picture. The teapot, plates and teacups/saucers are so pretty and dainty! Enjoy them! I will be praying traveling mercies for a safe journey there and a return home.

Now I must be in reverse. The way home always seems shorter to me!
