Journal day # 14. Reminding me of the happy days of summer and of good friends. Day is at the end now, and lots of things got accomplished, but more things await tomorrow (you know, the never ending housework!). But how good it is to have health to jump up and 'do' things! Yes, a pep talk to myself is always in order...=).

"Some seek afar for happiness..When,
if they only knew it,
This rule alone brings lasting joy--
Just find your work, and do it."

Dear Maggie-ann...such a beautiful picture but sad in a way though..
How easy it was when we were children to say "Friends Forever", but then we realized after we got older how many dear friends that we have just let slip through our fingers over the years..So sad..

I really like what Helen Steiner Rice says about friends..

When you ask God for a gift, be thankful that he sends not diamonds, pearls or riches, but the love of real, true friends.

I find that the Lord as blessed me richly in the last few months with such friends that I have met on the blog, and you Maggie-ann are one of them...Love Terry

Maggie Ann, I think that you were born in the wrong time period. You love the old time things...but then again we all love something other than this time I guess. Your work is always so pretty. Have a great night.
