This is the start of my 21 day journal...(thank you Dawn). It is just a small notebook about 5x6". I won't be sharing every entry but sometimes I will share a page now and again. Yesterday I took a few minutes and it gave me so much enjoyment to put this together. You never know how things will turn out but everyday holds little joys we hold in our hands for a little while and then forget entirely. So this will hopefully capture and generate future smiles, you know, like wishing you could bottle sunshine?~~~Since I've been up this morning, I've done a load of towels, had breakfast...a bowel of bran cereal and applesause. Gone outside and watered my flowers, petunias and 'bright lights' cosmos. I love those shades of golden orange. Nursturtians etc. I must take a picture of the stages of the patio for you to see. We are excited about it. Well, I am. Do men get excited over things like that? Doubting it...=). I also turned on Fox news for a minute or two to hear the news. Then I had my time with the Lord, reading my Bible and praying.~~I feel some angst that the two Israel soldiers taken captive have not been returned. I think Israel and the U.S. should be demanding that. The bullies have won in my opinion, but God is still on the throne. These are the two verses that I leave with you. One I chose, and one the Lord brought to my mind 'as clear as day'. Here's the one I read.."Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" Isaiah 5:24~~~Here is the scripture verse God's Holy Spirit brought to my mind..."Be not deceived; God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap" Galatians 6:7~~~I know a lot of people come by our blogs and just browse around and leave. Thats fine, I just am wondering if you have considered this Bible truth..."the kingdom of God is at hand; repent ye, and believe the gospel" Mark chapter 1, verse 15. ...'the sands of time are sinking, the dawn of heaven breaks; the summer morn I've sighed for, the fair, sweet morn awakes" (hymn The Sands of Time).....we will close our eyes in death but open them in glory if the blood of Christ has washed away our sins. The choice is ours and ours alone. Posted by Picasa

Thanks for coming to visit this morning. Glad you had a great time with your family - those grandkids can't be beat! OF course, I see mine daily and they think they have two houses! But they are so sweet.

I hadn't read the part yet about Patsy getting e-mails from this guy. Yikes! I know there's lots of garbage that's going to now be known. But I am so glad she is at peace.

Come back soon! Thanks for the good scripture reminders also.

I am so happy that you are beginning the journal. It is a fun process..and I know that as you go along, you will be adding and changing with it. If you notice, I do not share my personal journaling as some have, but in the time of creating the quote or verse artwork, I am thinking and it jump starts the journaling once the page is complete.
Enjoy the little book you are creating...

I wondered about the missing soldiers, too. They seem to have been forgotten in all this turmoil.
