This is my first altered 'cd' and what a fun time I had putting it together. Thanks Dawn for introducing me to this new artform. Couldn't you just see a collection of these and years go by and our granddaughters going through a shoebox of these that journaled our life....collage on the front( and I've put a sheet of scrapbooking paper on the back of this cd and journaled thereon around the magnets). Sort of like how folks used to save thier graduation cards way back when. Well, I'd best be off and get some things done like laundry and get my cello out. Blessings to you!

One is manhood true and good;
One is noble womanhood;
One is child life, clean and bright,
And one an altar kept alight". ~unknown author~

Oh my! This is so beautiful and precious! Really a work of art, and I love those soft hues. You did a wonderful job of it, dear Maggie!

Thank you, as always, for your comment yesterday :) I know about the duct-tape dressforms, several of my sewing friends online made some... But it isn't very pretty, and I don't have a place to hide it in our little flat... Since it is so small, we have to be very careful and selective about what we choose to put in it! Otherwise it wouldn't look pretty at all :) This dressform does take up some space, and I am grateful that my dear Seb allowed me to have one and thus take up some more room, on top of the sewing machine, serger and fabrics! He is so sweet and understanding :)

I hope you had a lovely time with your cello today :) I picture you creating all this (visual and musical) beauty and it makes me smile :) Thank you!

Maggie, that is beautiful!! You did a fabulous job...and your first try?!?!

About The Englisher....don't know yet if she continues with her art or not. This book left off and I'm going to try and wait *patiently* for the third. :o)

Another book you may like (I'm reading thru now) is "A Clearing in the Wild" by Jane Kirkpatrick (I think). I've read some of her other books and they are good, Christian reads. :o)
