This cross-st project was one I did some years ago and just came across it. Isn't she delightful? Notice that big smile of contentment. Sometimes, a woman just has to have some quality...'for me' time, don't you agree? I find that stitching time is a time frame of sereneness, where time stops as the needle weaves a work of art, and in this case...humor. I am thankful to the Lord for giving the gifts and talents to mankind that he has.....that we may have the privilege of creating and enjoying the fruits of our labours. Days without number, he maketh my cup full and overflowing, and He alone deserves my hearts adoration. My friend and I are both working on a Cross St. chart by Lori Markovic. It is a very old-fashioned style sampler...that says 'Give us this day our daily bread'. We are encouraging and motivating one another along the way. I hope to post a picture of it soon. I have the words done and am working on the border. Happy day to you, thanks for coming by!
