Sweet Christmas...

I can hardly believe Christmas Day will be here in 20 days!  Our gift wrapping room is a disaster...lol.  Our cat leaps and runs from one mess to the next with happy craziness.

I've just been over to Yummly  picking out a few new recipes. I'm going to try the No-Bake Cheesecake bites. The recipe got rave reviews and sounds very easy to make. Plus I chose Roasted Potatoes and Kielbasa.  I love Kielbasa but rarely cook it because its just not healthy but love...love...love it slow cooked with sauerkraut and then served with mashed potatoes, and melted butter on the  potatoes...just enough...mmmm.

The oddest thing happened to me....I was reading a book....laid it down somewhere and cannot! find it.  Unless its in the wrapping paper room...or....I may have accidentally put it in one of the good-will bags.  Sad to say...I might be over zealous just a bit but determined to get ready for company and all.

I am thankful that Christ Jesus is what Christmas is all about.  Christmas is about the perfect gift of his life and perfect atonement for our sins.  God is love, and it comforts to me to remember these truths. James 1:17

Hope you found your book! I am trying very hard not to pack something we will need before we leave or right after we get into our new house! There's no place to put the things that will go into the car on Tuesday morning as we leave. I just hope the guys who come to load the truck on Monday don't put something in the truck that I don't mean for them to! :-)

We will get to spend this wonderful celebration of Christ's birth with our daughter, son-in-law and grandson. In fact, we will arrive in Oregon on our daughter's 40th birthday, and then our grandson's 15th will be on Dec 22. So there's much to celebrate! It's my favorite time of year, and I love it. No decorating for me this year though! :-)
