An Hgtv home makeover

This was so very enjoyable...to go to an open house.  Right here in our own little corner of the world too!  The bathroom was a gem,done by the 'home & Garden channel guys. The only room I did not like was the living room. It was crowded and just not homey.  I liked the front door, but kind of hate to see old wood painted. The staircase was split...about 6 steps up was a landing, then 6 steps going down to the kitchen, which was 'ikea'. Looking, but darkish...no cabinets and no room for even a small table. I loved the shelf under the dining room window and floral curtains. I love 'homey'. What fun to go through that house...but no way do I think it was worth the asking price of almost 200 grand, it was grand, but not that grand!
