Along the Path of Life....

How times change!  Baby shoes nowadays are  little replicas of adult shoes sometimes (maybe these are too?) ....like tennis shoes,  Mary Jane's....(which I have several pair of in my size).  I bought these at a second-hand shop for $5.00,  what sweet things to bring home that day.

Move over, I was here first!  Hand-made rag dolls always catch my attention.  The craft stores with all the small spaces so charmingly filled by talented vendors call my name so eagerly. =)

And here it is...petunia time again.  I value these lovely flowers for their hardiness and fragile beauty....and did you ever notice how wonderful a perfume they give off?

We have a ground-hog and its offspring devouring our newly planted garden.  What a shame.  My hubby worked so hard getting that garden ready to plant.  Lately,

I have done way more reading than anything else....including knitting.  I was reading Jamie Langston Turner's books the second time around and now that I'm in-between books....well,  I feel lonely in a way.  And torn, whether to start another book or discipline myself to sew or something.  I took a bad fall Saturday night....not really sure how it happened.   You know...one minute you are ok and the next... down and hurting.  Thankfully I didn't break anything but have a huge nasty bruise the size of a dessert plate on my upper leg. And lots of sore muscles.  And tired.

I have watched some of 'Christy' while ironing  yesterday.  Don't you just love that series?  I sure do!  Its a toss up for me over which favorite movie I would put at the top of ' the List' .    Larkrise to Candleford?  Christy?  Sarah Plain & Tall?  Wind at my Back? and more....and if a movie like these has something I don't like included....I just fast forward and zip on by.

I hope where ever you are you are having a sunny day and sunny spirits.  And yes,  I would wish for you.... energy!.  And blessings, that can only come from reading God's word, and taking it into  your heart.  For keeps.

Psalm 16:11 'Thou wilt shew me the path of life: iin thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand are pleasures evermore.'

I am so sorry you fell and hurt yourself. It has been shocking to me to find out...the hard way...how much damage you can do in an instant. Take care of yourself and get extra rest to heal. I like Anne of Green Gables, too. And have you watched the series, The #1 Ladies Detective Agency? We watch that one over and over. Well, and Downtown Abbey! lol Enjoy the rest of the day my friend. Hugs, Diane

In so sorry you fell! Diane can sure relate to that! :-( I love petunias, especially the spicy scented people ones. So fragrant. Great idea about making the lemon dessert for a church picnic. That way you don't have to bring any back home to tempt you. That's what I'll do next time. :-)
