Just a quick  post for now.....spring is in the air today.  I heard the birds singing outside my window and it gave me a glad moment.  Our son was home for the weekend and it was a great time.  We went to the Pgh Home & Garden show, which I really enjoyed.  They had a lady appraiser from Discovery Channel who appraised antiques people brought it and that was fun.  (Besides, with over 5 acres of displays...it sure was good to sit for a while!)  What I liked best were the Yamaha digital pianos.  You could play the simplest notes and the Yamaha would give you full orchestration.  Heavenly!  But since it was $4000 we had to pass...haha.  Next favorite were the stone outdoor fireplaces.  You know, like they picture in magazines.  Dreamy.....

I think many of us could use a dose of Home and Garden Show right about now! That must have been wonderful!

We went out this morning and the pear trees are about to pop, we sure need color to perk us up.

Hi Maggie Ann, So happy you stopped by. I visited/commented on your blog a while back and was worried when I did not hear back.

I am so happy it is spring! We would love to have one of those fireplaces. The pianos would have been fun to try. Wow! That is a lot of $$.
Wishing you a wonderful day. Mildred

What a fun day! An Antique show with the appraising, and beautiful spring weather! How nice. And I know you were happy to have your son home.

I book I read was the original expose by Ann Eliza Young. If you can get it on Kindle that's awesome because it's rare, and only recently became more available. I don't know anything about the other book...I'm sure it's a novel and obviously not in very good taste. :-)

That sounds like so much fun! I would love one of those digital pianos, but it's not in our budget either...
Those outdoor, stone fireplaces are so pretty!
