A rainbow fell across the Word of God....from the prism in the window.  An ahhh moment I wanted to capture with the camera.

A pair of socks for our grandson...the knitting is all done!  This was the third pair I've knit up,  thanks to a great  knitting friend and teacher.

We were at the Lenox warehouse sale and I loved this!  I say, what if it is a bit of holly & Christmas design. My gluten free muffins look so charming tucked inside the dome lid. Don't you think so?

I don't know when I've enjoyed a floral arrangement this much.  The yellow sunflowers and lavender ribbon were perfection together.  You can see down in the corner...one of the sunflowers conked.  Every time I looked at this arrangement,  I sighed with pleasure....well,   many times anyway.  =)

This is a replica cup and saucer from the 'Titanic'  first class.  It is a  very special birthday gift from a dear friend.

I am now learning something new.  How to knit a sock using only a single circular needle instead of 5 dpns'.  I have chosen three colors and am going with the pattern I have opened here....mostly.  The heel and toe will be 'root beer' brown....and the foot will be 'lollypop' pink'  alternating the stripes  and so on, if all goes well.  I've gotten to be a very lazy blogger....in part perhaps because I'm knitting and reading more.  And watching the news!!  I'm off to have a bit of a nap,  and then to church to worship God.  What a blessing God is....'When we walk with the Lord...In the light of His Word,  What a glory He sheds  on our way!   This is so true.....=)

Oh Maggie Ann, what a beautiful post...beginning with the prism light on the Bible! I love it! I'm glad you are enjoying the knitting, learning new techniques, and accomplishing things with it. Quilting is such a slow slow process (and so is embroidery usually) that I get tired easily and put it aside. I have SOOO many unfinished projects! :-( Beautiful cup and saucer, too, and flowers. Just a sweet post, all the way around.
