This one day of all the year.....'Good Friday' is the remembrance of the day when Christ gave his life to endure the curse of death for each person who repents and believes that he is willing to be their Saviour if they will but receive him.

'Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved'   Romans 10:13   One thing I wanted to share that I thought extremely credible,  was that when the thief of the cross believed Jesus was the Holy Son of God....he asked Christ to remember him, and Jesus said...this day thou shalt be in  paradise with me.   All around the foot of the cross was surely a large group of people.   We know for sure Mary, the mother of Jesus was there...but the thief did not pray to her or ask her to intercede for him.  There were surely the hateful religious leaders that wanted Jesus put to death for his claims to be equal with God.  No  pleas were made to them either.   The thief placed his trust and hope directly on the Lord Jesus Christ and Jesus told him...'this day thou shalt be with me in paradise'.   Not in hell, or anywhere else but with Christ Jesus.  Forgiven.

'Him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out'.   This is what Jesus message is to every one of us,  'I stand at the door and knock...if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in unto him,...Revelation 3:20

If you have just happened by here and are reading this and not sure yet how to be saved.....which is to repent of your sins personally and trust what Christ did on the cross for you (taking your punishment & mine, he had no sin).... on your knees, pray to him and ask him to forgive your sins and tell him you want him to save you from punishment in hell and give you eternal life in heaven with  him...and if you truly believe on Jesus...he will save you to the  uttermost.  Still not sure?   In the sidebar at the top of this blog, please click on 'Are you a good person'?  It will explain even better the way to God.
