Isn't it great the way kids like to draw?  My grandson is borrowing his Nana's sermon notebook on the way home to do a little creating. Children are always doing something...and we love their cheerful busyness. Wish I could involve myself in more cheerful creativity this year.  I'm thinking....'godliness with contentment is great gain'.  A nudge from the Holy Spirit there I think....

Our daughter came up with this yummy replacement for Birthday Cake!  It tasted as good as it looks....a gluten free waffle, dipped in chocolate and made by her and her hubby, filled with frozen raspberry & white chocolate yogurt. Delish!!   My Birthday will really be in a  couple of weeks, but we celebrated early.  Hey, maybe I'll request a remake from hubby. That makes me smile!

awww ... that is sweet!

and that gluten free bday "cake" looks great! one of my friends was just diagnosed with celiac disease, so she has to be inventive (and scramble for recipes!) ...

blessings on you!

It sounds like your birthday is close to my hubby's...he and I will be having a joint celebration since we didn't go out or do anything special for mine. Lovely-looking dessert!
