It was such a nice day. Sunshine and blue skies, supper at the Dairy Queen and an hour or two working on our 500 piece puzzle of a little girl and her Raggedy Ann doll. We also stopped at Farm and Fleet and bought some great toys that were 50% off. And went by the auction for a while. And the food sale this morning was nice.
Now to rest and rejoice in the Lord, our maker and lover of our souls. And tomorrow....is Sunday. I am so comforted by God's love for me....and for all of us. There is not one person he does not care about. I Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him, for he careth for you. What a promise!

One of my favorite relaxing things to do are jigsaw puzzles! Your day sounds just perfect. I haven't been on a swing in way too long!

How perfect to have a swing in the yard to enjoy....it has to be peaceful to just sit and swing! Glad you had a day you could get out. Putting the puzzle together with your loved one also sounded like great fun. We watch "our shows" together every evening, and then during the day follow our own devices...mine usually being the computer, cleaning, gardening and sewing, but we are always within "hollering" distance. :-) Except when I go take care of our grandson. But hubby sometimes comes along. But, a puzzle or board game would be a nice change in these wintry evenings!
