I've been a busy girl...playing with a new photo app that turns a picture into a pencil sketch..... and celebrating my Birthday...again (smile).  This rose came the whole way home....a 9 hour trip earlier on in the month.   A gift from my grandsons.  My Dad was a photographer....a hobby turned serious, and always snapping pictures and developing them himself.  So we 'snappers' come by it honestly.  Dad even went on to 'shoot' black & white weddings.

It is amazing what a single life can hold.  Professions,  hobbies, possessions, loves, dislikes, collections..... but most important of all,  whether that person ever receives Jesus Christ as his or her own personal Saviour.  All to do here, but forever sealed in eternity.

'For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him, should not perish but have everlasting life.'  John chapter 3, verse 16.

'For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.' John 3:17

'He that believeth on him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.'  John 3:18

Happy Birthday! Such a pretty pencil sketch of the flowers. I'm so thankful for Jesus dying on the cross to save me from my sins.
Wishing you a nice Sunday.

Oh, this is beautiful! Happy Late Birthday! We apparently have close birthdays! I've never seen anyone's photos done as a pencil sketch. It's so interesting that your Dad was a photographer. You take after him!

I'm so glad you enjoy looking at my blog, and I sure love yours as well! I'm glad we can "chit-chat" here also. It's awesome that you include a testimony for Jesus in every post!
