My beautiful summer...rolling green hills everywhere we look,  and horses grazing serenely.

I love to see horses...they are beautiful!  I never learned to ride them though, being afraid of heights and falling. Many people around here do ride...in spite of traffic and narrow country roads.

'But mine eyes are  unto thee, O God the Lord: in thee is my trust......'  Psalms 141:8

I never rode horses either but think I would have loved to if I could have gotten over my fear or had the opportunity. My mother rode horses. I think vintage photos would make lovely notecards. You really should try. The internet makes it so easy now. Just a few clicks on your computer, and a credit card (of course) and they come in the mail in no time!

I agree, they do make for a beautiful, pastoral mood/scene And I really love spotted horses for some reason...? You make such nice photos to share with us !

My grandfather loved for me to ride him through the country and stop to look at horses. These pics are beautiful.

Hello, and thank you for dropping by my little book/reading blog, always nice to see a new face as t'were.
Like you I love horses, but never dared to ride or get too close. From a distance they look magnificent, but up close? Way too big for a five foot nothing granny!
