I so enjoy vintage clip art.  There is an attention to detail and purity that is not often found today. Or maybe  vintage clip art  is just my 'cup of tea'.  And mentioning tea....I sweeten mine with 'Splenda' lately and decided to google 'Splenda'....=(  here's what I found out.  But on the brighter side...I can drink unsweetened tea just as easily.  Just not as sweetly!  lol.

'...whatsoever things are true,....honest....just...pure...lovely... of good report...if there be any virtue....& if there be any praise, think on these things.'   taken from Philippians 4:8.  Praying for you a sunny, happy day!

The vintage art is beautiful. I use splenda...but I guess I am going to have to learn to stay away from any kind of sugar...It's difficult...I definitely have a sweet tooth. Thank yo for sharing the pictures...

Vintage clip art if refreshing and wholesome compared with today's standards .. and good for you reading up on splenda. I gave up caffeine all together and opt for herbal tea. Been sleeping so much better. Even coffee in the morning had a slight affect with sleep at night for me.

The artwork is lovely. Makes you think of that simpler time in the past.

Thanks for your comments on my iris gate...just wanted to let you know I got rid of the Comment Verification. Too much trouble for everyone! If you have comment moderation so you check the comments before they appear. Blogger has a really good spam filter anyway. So, it isn't really needed, and they have just made it too difficult now to use.

Yep, Splenda isn't what we all hoped it would be. I have started using products made with the Stevia plant. Much more natural! And, there's always honey. :-)

Hope your weekend is a good one!
