Vacation fun...

The exhibits at Carnegie Museum of Art and Natural History were so life-like, you'd have thought many were real! There are three floors of amazing collections and exhibits.

Oh those gorgeous beetles! We saw so many things that put a lump in my throat to think of the Eternal one who made them. Such beauty...beyond compare.

Well, our daughter and grandsons flew back home this morning. We had so much fun, and laughter together. The boys are constantly busy and funny and sweet. I'm looking forward to seeing them in a couple of months, maybe??. Love them so. We went to the zoo and the museum, and Fort Ligoneer this past week. Each one was great, and I'll be posting some pics of our day trips through next week.

My daughter knew I wanted to change the color of my bedroom and she insisted on us painting. We did...3 coats later I went from a blue to 'delicate pink'. What a fun transformation. The pink changes so much with the different lights! It looks delicately pastel in strong daylight, and much bolder at night...almost a rasbperry color. Hey, two rooms for the price of one....=). We had tons of fun together. We listened to 'Cloudy Jewel' by G.Livingston Hill on her Kindle while we painted. Well, part of it, now I want to read the book.

Pictures later of the room later. Right now I'm kind of whipped. We were up at 4:30 to get to the airport at 6 a.m. Everything went really smooth. Thank you Lord!

I thought this museum was wonderful, too, but it must be even better with grands:)
