This is just a magazine picture...but the birdhouses on the tree branches really caught my eye. I wanted to do this in my flower bed but the price of bird houses holds me back. Don't you love it though?

I can't believe its been so long since I've posted! Again. It sure is different with hubby retired. In a good way though =). We're getting out and about to flea markets and local shopping that is a treat. We traveled last week to the Roger's Ohio flea market and got to enjoy their flower auction at the end of the afternoon. What masses of flowers. We filled our trunk up and part of the back seat with flowers and herbs for a total of only $17.00 Plus the produce is amazing.

This week is Vacation Bible School and such a blessing! Its a refreshing treat to hear the truth from God's word presented every evening. When we came home last night and turned on the news I was aware of that. 24/7 we hear news on tv and newspapers that has not a speck of acknowledgment about our Creator. Ever notice?

I ordered drop spindles online and am looking forward to getting them. I've been knitting strawberries....big smile here....I must post a picture of them for you. One done and another almost done and what fun! I am also trying my hand at wire-wrapped rings and am smitten with their fun beauty. A picture of them later. Time to start my day..... I hope you've been well and your loved ones also.

Genesis 1:16 'And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.'

This is one of the verses the children are learning at Bible School. The kindergarten age children only have to remember 'he made the stars also' and think of God when they look up at night and see the stars. Isn't it true for all of us?

His handiwork is glorious ....'The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.' Psalm 19:1

'That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.' Romans chapter 10, verse 9.'

You are so right about the news. I have stopped listening to all the talk radio I used to listen to. Now, just a few minutes a day. It just gets me upset and there is nothing I can *do* about it.

If and when you read Double Comfort, do let me know what you thought of it!
