I wish it wasn't so late, I'd grab the camera and get a picture of the African Violet I just got today. Its sort of a raspberry color...dusky pink and delicious to look at.And... I've been knitting about a dozen rows on my scarf each day and the handspun is wonderful to knit with..light and airy.

Hubby is coming along....still not feeling well but off two meds. He still has to get blood work every week. I just read 'tea time for the traditionally built woman' by Alexander McCall Smith...I LOVE that book! It had to be returned to the library but I do want to get a copy for myself. Thank you Marie for the word of encouragement...I needed that! =)

Better sign off here..son called and I'm trying to post and talk on the phone too! forgot to mention, today at the good will store I picked up a copy of readymade ( dot com)...its interesting. Has anyone ever heard of this magazine? I was pleasantly surprised to find an article on tatting! Plus, for 22cents each I brought home some magazines ...'cross country stitching'. Am I going to really cross stitch? I wondor...I haven't cross stitched in years and don't have time too but....

I am so sorry that your husband has been so ill but hope and pray that each day he is doing better and getting stronger. I love the picture of the African Violet. My mother used to always have several in her house. She could always keep them alive, I have never been able to for very long but they are sooo pretty. Praying things get better and better, love you. connie
