What a beautiful sunshiny day here. I am reviewing our Sunday School Material for tomorrow. What a blessing to realize once again that God sent his holy, sinless Son to be our Saviour! I'm so thankful. The following is a hymn titled...'At Calvary' by W.R. Newell and D.B.Towner

'Years I spent in vanity and pride (this is so true,I did not get saved until I was 32 years old.) Caring not my Lord was crucified (I didn't think of Jesus as personal to me I was lost in sin), Knowing not it was for me (personally) He died...On Calvary. (the Old Rugged Cross..crucified! because of my sin)

Mercy there was great (Through the preaching of His word God called to me over and over to come, repent and be saved from my sins & the condemnation they deserved), and grace was free (grace, undeserved favor); Pardon there was multiplied to me; There my burdened soul found liberty (I had peace with God now,no doubts about if I would maybe go to Hell ever), At Calvary."

'For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.' Romans chapter 10, verse 13. Verses 8 thru 13 were verses I was led to God with. To be washed clean from sin...amazing grace, how can it be!

that's a wonderful way to share your testimony!!! and i love that song!!! :o)

thanx for popping by my poor neglected blog ... i think of blogging, but somehow when the mood strikes, i am chatting with leo instead, or going for a walk ... it seems that my retirement (it's been almost a year since i've worked!) is the busiest i've been ... not that i would want to add any more hours to the day - cause i am looking towards "That Day" ... the day of the Lord's return ... an exciting thought!!! then i will finally get to meet some dear sweet blog sisters, like you ... smile ... Praise the Lord for the sharing & caring over the past 5 1/2 years!

blessings on your Sunday!!!!

♫ Amazing Grace, how can it be?
That you, my King, would die for me?
Amazing Grace, I know it's true,
it's my joy to honor you........with all I do, I honor you. ♫

Thank you for your precious testimony !

Lovely reading here today (as always). I am watching The Walton's ... and saw the episode with the circus/carnival people. Don't remember seeing that one before .. glad it was not a repeating theme for them. Hope your week is going well.
