Of all things, my son sat down here at the pc and checked the 'I agree' blogger box and away we went....hurray! pictures! I've been puzzled for a week now why I cannot get a picture to post and it was something that simple.

I've been having a stained-glass revival of sorts. We hadn't done any for about 6 years or so. I wanted to enlarge this teapot piece so that is what we did plus two wedding gift pieces. Yesterday I cut out and ground a small piece for myself in yellows...love it already but it isn't soldered yet. I think I may be catching a cold. At first I thought it was just allergies but now I'm wondering.

One thing that stuck in my mind from our Sunday Sch. lesson was that sin had so completely taken over Cain's heart that he didn't seem to care that he had killed his brother Abel. What? Am I my brother's keeper? How sad and how scary sin is.This murder started in Cain's anger. He didn't care what God wanted for a sacrifice, he was filled with what he himself wanted and jealous that his brother's sacrifice was pleasing to the Lord.

"For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." John 3:17 And then there's God's mercy...Cain said 'my punishment is greater than I can bear'. It sounds like he is sad now! And our gracious God...puts a mark on Cain to protect him...even though he would roam the earth as a vagabond..he lived on and had a life and a family. Something Cain denied his brother Abel. The Sunday School lessons really make me think about them. I'm thankful to be redeemed by the blood of the Lamb!
