Oh boy, what fun, a new camera to play with! I'm having a good time learning new things that I didn't think I could learn. The sun just came out and I'm tempted to go out with the camera and get some shots.

My pussy-willows are out. I've always loved them, I don't know why. We bought a bunch of cut ones some years back...and I got them to root in a bucket of water. I planted them and one or two 'took'. Oh happy day! Now the tree? is about 10 foot tall, and loaded with pussy-willows. I hope you have a cozy evening like we plan to do.

"Every trial is a trust" Amy Carmichael.

"I Peter 1:7-9....That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls." Oh praise Him!

Happy day Maggie Ann - you got a new camera! I love the whimsy of your new header - made me laugh :o) And I loved your story about pussy willows. I have loved those things ever since I was a little girl. I used to pick them off my uncles trees and pretend they were teeny, tiny rabbits that needed me to take care of them. Childhood is wonderful like that, isn't it? I'm so glad that you told about how you can plant cuttings. I'm going to try that this year. Last year I bought a bunch of them from Sam's and used them for spring decorationing. When summer came I just threw them out, but they did have roots, I think. How did you do this? Did you plant them in the summer, or did you wait till the fall? I'm so curious.

I just can't wait for spring to spring forth. Still snowbound on my little part of the mountain. Your new camera will provide many great opportunities for your artistic flair :)
