Just a memory now!

But oh, what a good memory. (click on photo collage to enlarge makes it seem more like really having a look around...=) I did make the Cinnamon Carrot pie and the first words out of my husband's mouth after the first bite was...' I love it!, does it get any better than that?! I liked it too.

This photo collage is of course, our fridge door and our cozy little kitchen table, set for three with a cheery candle burning in the midst of the goodies. Picture us listening as my husband read from the Psalms and we sang..'We gather together to ask the Lord's blessing...'. I'd like to have a peek at your Thanksgiving day too. Did you eat out or at home? Did you roast a turkey?

Years ago when my husband & I had only been married a few years, we were at my Mom and Dad's home. Dad asked me how much our bird weighed. I hedged about a bit and then laughingly admited...I had'nt cooked a turkey at all. We had chicken I think...and I can't even remember if we cooked it or bought it. What a nice memory of spontaneous laughter between my Dad & I. He had a great sense of humor which my sister & I both have a nice share of. What a legacy...grin. You gotta love it!
