I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. I will be glad and rejoice in thee...Psalm 9:verses 1 and 2a
Tuesday, November 18, 2008
Just last week I was marveling over the beauty of God's handiwork. The sky was gorgeous. My lilac hedge had turned golden yellow and the tree tops were crowned with golden leaves. Now, the last two days have been winter wonderlands. Snow falling by the hour, coating the world. Every tree laden with even more beauty. As white as snow.
"Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD; though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." Isaiah chapter 1, verse 18.

Hi, Maggie Ann!
Have you gotten much snow?
I like how you used the scripture "though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow" when referring to the snow. Just like the snow covers the earth, He covers our sins, and makes us white as snow. Beautiful!
Karen
beautiful, Thank You lord for Your grace and mercy. Your place is lovely Maggie Ann.

Your sky pictures are beautiful. God's handiwork IS glorious! We've yet to get snow ... but should get some anytime now. Our temps have been running ten degrees above normal (not complaining ;) ... stay snug in your cozy home. Thank you for the award, you are so kind. I'll check the details when I get a chance. Hugs,
No snow here of course but the temps have been getting lower and lower for us!! Take care...
Beautiful photos!
We, too, had a little snow Tuesday, which is rare for this southeast. We were thrilled!
Love the Scripture you posted with it!
Thank you for visiting me!
Hope you were able to find info on the book. I am loving it.
Enjoy the rest of your week.

What a lovely post! That scripture is just perfect.

Hello Dear Maggie Ann!
It's the last evening of my visit to my daughters home. Tomorrow evening I will be back at the cabin.
We visited a huge craft mall today complete with workers dressed as "A Christmas Carol" characters and caroling going on throughout the building. It was so much fun!
Anyway, I wanted to take a few minutes while I can to visit you and wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving as I know next week will be a very busy one for me.
As always, Maggie Ann, I've enjoyed my visit and loved reading your daybooks and viewing your lovely pictures. Most of all--I love the encouragement always given from God's Word!
Happy Thanksgiving with love!
Claudia O.
P.S.--enjoy your snow!
that's lovely!
blessings on ya!
p.s. would you believe i put our Christmas decorations out today ... it feels cozy in our condo, with the lights glowing ...
Looks like the November skies we have here. No snow here yet.
