The Wednesday Stamper Collage Challenge

The 'Wednesday Stamper' challenge is 'Structure/Texture'. I like to start with watercolors in/on the background and add layers of color and design. I just feel my way as I go. I think color is the most wonderful thing about collage along with the elements that give a message or feeling to the viewer. This background is watercolored. I also used a Delta background stencil for the swirls and drywall tape that I sponged over. Lots of Petal Point color, with Gesso added. That adorable little stamp of the girls and quote, are Susan Branch stamps. And, a bit of cllip art and scraps.

Gesso ... I remember using it in jr. high school art class. I loved working with it. Your collage is very well put together.
