Tonight I prepared some peaches for the freezer. It went a lot faster than I thought it would, but I still have a full box full.
Tonight also, hubby and I peeled a big pan of apples for applesauce..also for the freezer. Its a good feeling, I feel like the Queen of Applesauce this week!

Here is a picture of my cozy kitchen table loaded with newspapers etc. among which reigns my new cookbook...'In the Kitchen with Mary and Martha'. Every time I sat down here today, I'd read a few pages and ponder what to make that isn't fattening! Wishing you a happy Sunday..."The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate." Psalms 34:22 What a glorious promise to us!

I used to can when I was young quite a lot but not anymore.
Hey is that the back of you? You have never shown us what you look like if so...why not!!?? I would love to see who I have been talking to for all these years...
