This is a little collage of my life lately. I hadn't realized that a week had gone by since I last posted. Hope you missed me, but I'm sorry if you came by to the same old, same old. I've been busy decluttering the house...its looking pretty but what a time hog. Then there's my spinning, wait till you see what I've got done..smile.

The first picture is of a gorgeous rainbow from the prism hanging in our living room window. Even though I'm 60 years old...they still give me a thrill. Here I hold ...in my lap, the precious Word of God, with a rainbow that He alone created. Aren't we blessed?

Next is what I saw when I got up yesterday and walked into the dining room. All these clear 'dots' of light are from a heart shaped pink prism hanging in our kitchen window. Wow! I said, and went for the camera. I never thought these pictures would capture this so well. The dots of light were all over the ceiling and walls...everywhere. This same heart streams forth broad bands of strong color at different times of the morning. It makes my heart sing to see it.

And the last pictures should be of my newly spun yarn. My husband's cousin gave me the wool..its just beautiful, so creamy white. This will be a gift to his wife to crochet or knit a scarf or something small. It is 221 yards worth of beautiful. It may sound silly to you, but when I took this off the niddy-noddy and tied it for its bath, tears filled my eyes at its beauty. All that work and spinning---WORTH IT--grin. Thats the way it will be as we live for the Lord...it isn't always fun to yield ourselves to the discipline of visiting to invite others to church, or putting together study lessons,(or cleaning the house etc) but oh the glory of seeing the results. Results for eternity, in ourselves and in those we minister too. No regrets then!

I bought a book at Big Lots on the way home from our trip...It has various true stories about women and how knitting played major roles in women's lives. One story talks about how a woman's Mother gave up a singing career to take care of her Mother who was dying of cancer. Later on, when that woman was failing, her daughers nursed her through her failing battle with cancer. She sobbed that she never wanted them to go through what she did nursing her Mother along to the end. And,just so I'm not quoting against the law, I'm putting this in my own words. Daughers do what they have to do, they are resilient even while their hearts are breaking, and they do everything in their power to make their loved as one comfortable as possible. They sob and cry in the showers...with breaking hearts, but when they come out they muster on. I've been there...twice, but I was not alone. God sent people for me to lean upon, just when I needed help the most. When you suffer anquish of heart, turn to Him, you will find him wholly true. He WILL send help, it may be a passage of scripture which you will know is GOD speaking to you personally or it may be a friend, or a Pastor or best...all of these things. Never stop trusting God...He never chose sin and suffering and death for us.

Adam and Eve did choose sin and disease and death for us when they deliberatly chose to disobey God in the Garden of Eden. If you think we pay a high price for our sin, just pause to think what it cost God. His only begotten Son. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." The book of John, chapter 3, verse 16. If you feel the burden of your sins...its weight of guilt...please visit the 'ARE YOU A GOOD PERSON' in my sidebar. It will lead you step by step to how you can have that weight of sin removed. Forever.... forgiven.

My daughter loves prisms. They've been among her favorites since she watched Pollyanna as a young girl. When we saw her taking the prisms off of one of my mother's lamps, my mom started her on a collection! Your pictures are lovely and I like the new photo in your header. Looks so inviting!

Those dining room pics are gorgeous. You know what, I seriously need to declutter now that I have some extra time since Montana went back to pre-K today...wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Can you hear me over there...waaaaahhhhhhh, lol. I went through this last year on his first day and I thought it would be a little easier today but it wasn't. They grow too quickly. And I know what you mean by how much they know and how smart. He also has a Mario game...the Mario Kart. He received a Nintendo DS for his birthday and he loves the little thing. Hope all is well with you. Hugs! later.

I love your beautiful rainbow and special lights and the yarn is more beautiful than I can say. The WORD of God is the most beautiful of all. For it gives us light and show us the WAY. I am so thankful that God's Son was willing to leave all of glory and come and die on an old rugged cross for you and me. Great post, connie
