This is a delightful book! I spent part of Sunday afternoon reading it aloud to my husband & I. The illustrations are just wonderful and it includes 'The Flopsy Bunnies' and 'The Tale of Mr.Tod'. The price on this is $8.99 but I got it for only $2.49 at Ollies, brand new. I highly recommend it and then some. Books are wonderful friends. Sometimes they create sunshine in the heart and this is one that did just that for me. What are you reading? thinking of the verse, whatsoever ye do , do all to the glory of God! =) I Corinthians 10:31b

I think this is one of the best children's books ever written.

Children's? I know a Grammie or two who loves it, too.

I was so glad Miss Potter was something my grandchildren could watch. I, uh... loaned(?) my copy to my daughter. My daughter in NEW ENGLAND. Someday I will get it back but I have great joy knowing four little ones enjoy it as much as their mom.

I think it brings the book to life for them.

Oh, I was always pleased when my littles picked a Beatrix Potter to read. I could wallow in her paintings and wonderful prose all day.

I agree! My kids were given this book when they were little by their grandmother. We loved reading it.

Hi Maggie Ann
Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I hope you'll be back again.
I enjoyed reading a few of your posts. Very interesting editorial on Obama. I hope people are starting to see what he is like.
I love the Tale of Peter Rabbit. ALways thought Peter got a bad deal. He was just doing the normal exploring thing that boys do! There is a wonderful movie I really enjoyed about the life of Beatrix Potter, called Miss Potter. I'd recommend it.
I love Mary Engelbreit too just beacause her stuff is so cheerful. Seems we have some things in common!
