Easter Blessings....

Although this picture doesn't show Christ meeting this woman at the cross...I think the message is plain. "Kneel at the cross, Christ will meet you there, Come while He waits for you; List to his voice, Leave with Him your care, And start your life anew." Kneel at the Cross..hymn by Charles Moody. I knelt at the cross 28 years ago and it was the most important thing I ever did in my life. I was a 'good' person, who kept going over the things I did right....and then I heard a message preached just for me on a Mother's Day. The title of that message was 'Hell will be filled with 'good' people." Good in their own eyes but not in God's eyes. He says, "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23 If you're surfing the net and come across this post....it is no accident. God wants to save you from hell and set your soul on the road to heaven. God has the very hairs of your head numbered....He has given his Son to save you...its up to you now to respond...admit you are a sinner and ask God in prayer to forgive you and save your soul. He is waiting and longing for you. He loves you no matter what. Run to him, don't delay. You too can have joy and fellowship with God.

Jesus Christ shed his precious blood take away your sins. Time is running out and if you just put God off, you may end up in a sudden death, or in a hospital unconscious unable to call out to God for salvation. "There's room at the cross for you, tho millions have come, there's still room for one....yes, there's room at the cross for you." This hymn was sung the morning I cast myself at the foot of the cross....throwing myself on God's mercy for salvation. I knew that 'one' that needed her sins washed away by the Saviour's blood was me. Oh glorious day, I was born anew and my life has been alive to my God and Saviour ever since.

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved." Romans 10:13

In your posted image: I see a believer leading another to Christ. Sadly we find many being lead elsewhere except to the foot of the Cross first. We find them being lead astray to have their best life ever, or into extra biblical teachings of strange tongues, subjective prophecy, and wild experiences. This is an excellent photo that shows the love of the believer for the lost. How beautifully representative of how Christ would desire us to offer His death, burial, and resurrection to the world through Love and compassion when they need it most.

Well said. We don't know how long we have or what situation we'll be in when life is over. I remember driving to work, passing under a red light, looking up to think that I could accept Christ with my last breath but for now I was going to live it up. What a lie! As you've said, what if we don't have a last breath.

2 Corinthians 6:2
...behold, now is the accepted time, behold, now is the day of salvation.

Have a wonderful Easter!

Easter blessings to you too, Maggie Ann! I came to Christ 21 years ago after attending church my whole life. I'm 50 now ... It just took a friend inviting me to her church where the pastor preached directly from his Bible ;) Hugs
