Spinning again! Its been before Christmas since I took time to spin and am so glad to get back to it. I could spin and spin, especially while listening to an audio book. I wanted you to see this wonderfully colored fiber I'm spinning. It has blends of aqua, hot pink and this wonderful blue. I wondor what the plyed yarn will look like.

"Spin: a rapid whirling, to draw out into threads". A good definiton from Webster's Dictionary.

Working towards...."If the moment I am conscious of the shadow of self crossing my threshold,......I do not shut the door, and in the power of Him who works in us to will and to do,....keep that dooor shut, then I know nothing of Calvary love." Amy Carmichael

These are the newest additions to my home library and oh, how they called my name! Already each has enriched my thinking....Life is a learning process and rich with possibilities, don't you agree?

Oh, I am FIRST!! WOW!! As i told you I am learning how to knit. I sometimes wonder if i will ever learn how to purl. I can do it but then i have trouble keeping a pattern going. Like k2; p2; yo; knit 3...You know what I mean. I guess I will learn in time. I am also making invitations for my dad's 90th birthday party in August. I have been busy. Hope your day is a good one. Even though I don't indulge in quilting, that book "Memories in Quilting" would have called to me too! As well as the artists book that is partially obscured. I have recently taken up pencil sketching after about 45 years (I studied art for one year at school and gave it up because I didn't think I was good enough to make a living from it). Now I've discovered I just like to sketch people for pleasure.
