Don't you just love this wallpaper at the tea rom. And the clock!
Well, I've been sick for two days now. My husband has the same thing...it is a virus that starts with a sore throat and stays...and stays. You feel like you have good beginnings of a fever, but don't. I really hope none of you have this. I just recovered from the worst head cold about a week ago.
Off to the couch I go, to read my chapter or chapters in Job. Yesterday I kept thinking I would knit at least one row, but couldn't even make myself sit up very long. This is not a 'cozy' type of virus. Where you are propped up in bed cross-stitching. I wish! I just looked up the definition of 'virus' in my ever handy dictionary. "a poison that is produced in the body by a disease"...not a bad definiton.
"A wonderful Saviour is Jesus my Lord, A wonderful Saviour to me.......He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock......Where rivers of pleasure I see.
Chorus; He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock....That shadows a dry thirsty land; He hideth my life in the depths of His love, And covers me there with his hand"
.....from the hymn 'He Hideth My Soul'...Fanny Crosby/W.Kirkpatrick

WoW, I do love that wallpaper. I have several clocks in my home, so I can definitely appreciate their beauty.

So sorry you've not been feeling well. Not being able to sit up enough to do your hand-work is definitely tell-tale sign of a vicious virus.

He hideth my life in the depths of His love, And covers me there with his hand"

Amen. Funny how we sometimes judge God to be weak as ourselves and consequently doubt His ability to do or accomplish all things. We think that if we don't see something taking place, then it isn't happening or won't come to pass. I'd like to remind myself (smile) that Abraham didn't see a fullness of God's promises come to pass until after he had left this earth. Bless God that He is patient and understanding for our limited minds while He gives us glimpses into how He is in total control of every aspect of our lives.

Your charm is awesome! You can make just about anything you set your mind too it looks like! I hope you feel better. It's yukky when you can't even make yourself craft!!!! What a beautiful day you and your friend must've had at that tea room. Happy belated birthday, and I wish you MANY MANY more!

I put the wrong too up above. It should read to! LOL! I can't help it. I'm an English major, and it drives me crazy when I type the wrong word!
