The challenge for 'Wednesday Stamper' is to make 'a charm'. Mine is a necklace made of stained glass. The glass is called...'water glass', and it is wavy in texture, especially on the front. (which makes it really hard to stamp on!) I stamped a swirl rubber stamp with Staz-On black ink on the back, and on the front I stamped 'W' 'S' for Wednesday Stamper. The letters on the front are nice....it gives it a dimensional effect. This is the kind of necklace that while wearing, you hold up to the light to enjoy a few seconds of the beauty of stained glass... We had recently made some of these charms from our left-over stained glass & beads so this challenge was rather easy, and isn't that the best kind? =)

Maggie Ann - This is so beautiful! You are so talented! Thanks for stopping by A Mother's Minute. I haven't stopped by your place for a while. Been reading a new book and I can't get my nose out of it. LOL so wonderful that you will be a grandma to a little boy too just like me! Congrats!

A stain glass necklace?!
It's brilliant...in several ways.

I just bought a few clear rubber stamps of what else...birds! My husband has a good piece of wook he'll cut for me now that I've marked off the right sizes. Have you ever made the blocks for your own? And if so, do you have any advice besides giving them a good sanding?

Dear Maggie Ann ... I sure hope you are feeling better by now. We just got over something similar ... thanks to my youngest liking to share everything ;) What a great idea for a necklace.

This is very pretty! When you're not wearing it, it would be lovely hanging in a window so you could enjoy it all the time!
