I am so tired tonight! We spent the afternoon at the neighbor's where they auctioned off the contents of her house and the house itself. The two things I came home with were two rolling pins and the tea balls. (I've never seen tea balls this large! They will be great for the teapots and a nice way to remember my neighbor, who is up in years and now lives with her daughter. ) Well, plus a truck bed full of things my husband got quite cheaply for the school's next yard sale. There's something about an auction....it stirs you up to ...bid, bid, bid....lol! Hoping you had a good week and rejoicing with you if you are redeemed, in the love of our Saviour and God.

An estate sale, right near by. No way you could pass that up.

I'm pretty sure that the owner wasn't there, if she's living with her daughter now. Something like that, would be very hard on her, I'm sure.

Is is kind of sad when you think of an auction that probably got rid of some things that meant so much to that lady at one time. Live goes on and things change. I hope she is very happy with her daughter.

I hope you have got rested and refreshed after the weekend. Have a very good week. connie

This postcard looks like it has fabric. Very pretty.

I've never been to an auction but I do love a good flea market.

Something wonderful rises up inside me when I consider how awesome God truly is. There's such an excitement in considering that Truth.

Thanks for the sweet comment on my blog. I'm glad my creativity inspires you. I can't tell you how much all the creative blog friends I've made inspire me. I updated my blog with my first officially hand binded quilt. It was fun. I have another one in the works, and I'm going to start donating blankets to a great organization. You could send some of your beautiful knitted ones too. Read about it on my blog! Hope you had a happy Halloween!
