The white stole is one I knitted years ago and have gotten a lot of use out of. My new 'readers wrap' stole is measuring about 2 inches wider and I am off on the gauge by 1 inch. (but of course) I'm getting 8 WPI. I'm using a '9' circular. Marlene, would you email me with any advice? I don't know whether to continue or not with this pattern. It seems like it will be very bulky. The white yarn was a common posy like 'Red Heart' but soft and knitted up nicely. I'd love to know what you think about this. You can see my spinning results aren't perfect...yet...grin. But, its very pretty but seems heavy for this pattern.

Is there anything you can't do? Seriously...I really should teach myself to knit something other than scarves after seeing your lovely creations here :-)

Your white stole is gorgeous Maggie. I had no idea you were such an accomplished knitter.

I'll email you in detail with some ideas on how to proceed with the handspun one.

You know I don't know anything about knitting but wanted to say that that white stole is absolutely gorgeous.

I'm like Audrey - I am not a knitter, but I can appreciate the work that went into this beautiful stole. Gosh, Maggie, you really are clever. Tatting, embroidery, knitting, painting... Did you ever think of opening a shop to sell your crafts?
