Here is my collage for this week's 'Wednesday Stamper' challenge which is 'Eggs'. I enjoyed this collage SO much. It turned out differently than I had planned. Much darker like a grunge look but I'm loving it. The really fun part was applying my husband's Kiwi brown shoe paste/polish with the little brush that comes with it. The stamp I used is from 'Above The Mark'. The eggs picture I borrowed from my blogging friend 'Ang' whose chickens really produced these beauties! Thanks Ang. I used a few stamped colors and embellished this with the paper doily and buttons, plus the heart brads. I kind of liked it without the brads but the holes did show where the wire hanger goes through. It is mounted on brown matboard and the words are 'Hold Me Close to Your Heart'. Our little grandson says to his Mommy sometimes....'hold me, hold me Mommy'. ~~p.s. for Sparrow, yes the words on the cover of "Old Rose & Silver" are embossed. Aren't those old books treasures! If your blog is up and running, would you please mail me your password? I'm rather hopeless at keeping passwords! I love to hear from you friend...=) Thanks for your comments!

I love it. I love the grudge look on the piece. so different then what you normally do. Looks like you did have fun. I'm still working on my scrapbook pages. I wish I could put them on my art page. They are too big to scan in. I'll have to try and take some pictures tonight. Check out my art page later.
