My Easter roses are beautiful...thought I'd share them with you by way of pictures..=). Here is the Cream Puff Cake recipe. Its even better the 2nd & third day. I've had a lazy day...after walking 2 miles on the treadmill which left me tired out. A dear friend used to say...'Consistency, thou art a jewel!'..meaning 'if only' I could be consistent instead of exercising hit & miss. Oh well, half begun is half done. I'm happy...in spite of my imperfections....=).
Cream Puff Cake
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup water
pinch salt
1 cup flour
4 eggs
large box of cooked vanilla pudding mix
8 oz. Cool Whip whipped topping...........Bring margarine and water to a boil in saucepan. Add flour & salt all at once. Beat until mixture forms a ball; REMOVE from heat....Add eggs one at a time, beating until smooth after each addition. Spread in a 9x13" pan (I lightly spray pan with cooking spray oil). Bake at 400 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool a while before spreading cooked and partially cooled pudding on the top. Now spread the whipped topping on this, refrigerate and enjoy!

Which comes first, the treadmill or the cake? I'm not very good at being consistent with exercise. I must make myself do at least a little every day.

PS: In my slightly dyslexic way I thought those were "cream puff roses" at first. They are gorgeous.
