I've been in the kitchen all day, but not dealing with produce...smile. I've been standing there spinning. One of my large balls of 'roving' is spun and another is almost done. I really like to spin...I like the bit of a challenge it is and the feel of the wool. I found that if I overload the dowel rod part of my homemade 'drop spindle' the twisted yarn pushes against the CDs and they fly away! That only happened a few times though.

Thanks to each of you who left me a comment ...its wonderful to have thoughtful folk, who say, I've been here today!

I must hurry away I'm afraid...my practise awaits. The recital was awesome, of course and we followed the directions and found the church quite easy to find. What a big blessing that was! So, was it Roy Rogers that sang 'Happy Trails to You...untill we meet again' at the end of each show? Thats my wish for you tonight....=). Thinking of you even though I can't come visiting, not till Wedesday-ish!

"The King of love my Shepherd is, Whose goodness faileth never;
I nothing lack if I am His, And He is mine forever." Sir Henry William Baker

Dear Maggie-ann..What a gorgeous picture!!
Nothing so nice as a sweet little girl wearing a pretty dress!

It really sounds like you have been very busy. There probably isn't enough hours in the day for all you do,but you know what Maggie-ann?
That Flip Flop is ONE to talk.
SHE is always busy too.
Just like a little candle that is burning t both ends!!...Love Terry

Your yarn-spinning sounds very appealing :) I'd love to come over for a visit and spin some with you - and we could stitch, and drink tea, and talk of - and like - Anne of Green Gables, which I finally read last summer (you had told me so much about it, I had to read it for myself! And I was delighted... Wish I'd read this as a little girl!)
Hope your day will be wonderful today :)

i've missed you while i've been gone! just thought i would do a quick visit before i clean the house for company that will soon be arriving ... i came home to a little flurry of activity ...

do you think that it will quiet down anytime soon? *smile* hope so!!!

a person needs quiet time with the Lord and it seems my snippets of time are making me thirsty for more ... snacks are nice, but a person does need a full meal too!

blessings to you, dear maggie ann ... i must dash!
