I think this flower is properly named...'Bright Lights' Cosmos. What a beautiful thing color is. Orange is not a good color for me to wear but I really enjoy a vibrant shade like this...and orange-red also. I'm so glad God made so many wonderful colors for us to enjoy and use in all aspects of life. Blue sky, green grass....cheerful reds and oranges. I think my favorite color is red...cherry red, like Mary Englebreit uses in her paintings. What is your favorite color? but, I also love white or cream carpets and beige monochromatic colors that are restful and just a little luxurious feeling. I've been spinning again...= ) and will post a picture of that tomorrow. Its been a wonderful week for me....the Lord has blessed me in various ways. So, with a thankful heart I end the day. Tomorrow, I should make a pan of applesauce, we have 4 apple trees, but only 2 of them produced a useable amount of apples. Not my favorite thing to do, peel apples for a couple of hours, but its great to have the applesauce and maybe a few dumplings. Just when I'm feeling a measure of success....off went a few pounds. Its amazing how good I feel when I don't eat junk or overeat. Well, off to bed I go....hopefully I'll be able to come visiting you tomorrow...= ). Thanks for enjoying my newly spun 'almost' yarn with me. What a nice experience it is to be spinning!

"In the beginning was the Word, and Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life...." St. John 1:1-4a

"Courage can lessen misfortune....To quite a surprising degree....The trouble is never with trouble, So much as it is with me." R. McMann and, I think....Faith outshines courage or should I say possibly is the Mother of courage. Jesus is a very present help in time of trouble to those who cling to him, to those who call upon him for salvation.

I like monochromatic schemes too as a backdrop for a room. Then as whim strikes, I can change the look by switching out accessories. Much less expensive to decorate this way

such a lovely pic ... and i'm so happy for your good week ... it is a true blessing when we don't take the "everyday" for granted ...

i have had a quieter week, nursing my cold ... plus we have looked at some possible houses - still nothing for us to buy ... sigh ... i know when it happens we will understand the "why" of the wait ... i would just love to be able to settle in before the snow flies ...

well off for another cup of coffee (it should be tea, but i am a finlander and coffee is the way we wake up!) ...

blessings on your saturday!
