I finished my flounced skirt today and I just love it!!! Thank you Isabelle for the pattern/tutorial. And it makes a wonderful skirt to play my cello in. Nice and roomy and I will definitely be making several more of these. I used seersucker material and it is very pretty and feminine. Just my cup of tea...smile. And, did I mention easy? It really was a pleasure to sew. ~~~My husband is feeling better today than the last few days. Thank you for praying for him! Wishing you all a pleasant Sunday.

Wow, that skirt is stunning! Was it easy to make? It's feminine and light - so pretty! And with your Cello - wow.

I was thinking of you when we saw our local orchestra on the library lawn the other day. I should send you a picture...

Great photo! And, hey, so glad your husband is better. Maybe just a warning to be careful, eh?

I didn't know what he did for a living. Fourteen miles a day? It'd tax anyone.

You take care, hear?

Dear Maggie, I apologize for not being around for a while...
I was alarmed to read the news concerning your husband in the previous post... and I am relieved that he is feeling better. He should see a doctor, though!

And oh, I am so delighted at your skirt :) I would love to use seersucker, but here in Paris, it is a little too expensive for me...
Oh, what a beautiful picture this is.
If you're like me, you're going to wear that skirt all summer long... nearly every day. Isn't it comfy, on top of being feminine and pretty? We wear them just the same length as well, my friend!
Oh, seeing your picture and reading your comment have been a wonderful ray of sunshine. Thank you, dear Maggie! It is such a blessing to know you!
