This was a great week for enjoying roses at our house. I had a gorgeous bouquet again, made up with pink roses and rose colored ones with a great 'Queen Anne's Lace' in the center, plus some flowers and berries I don't know the name of. However, they are 'done' and I have just the memory left now. My admiration abounds for the florist who created this bouquet. This morning I went with my hubby to buy lumber, but kept my tatting in the truck and got a bookmarker started in small snatchs of time. I bought myself the new 'I Love Lucy' dvd set yesterday, so this afternoon was spent sewing little pinkeeps sitting at the dining room table (I brought my sewing machine upstairs for the afternoon)....while keeping an eye on Lucy's escapades, which I love. Isn't she a wonderful comedian? I think so. =). Its turned chilly outside so I got down my Christmas teapot and had cinnamon tea. This is most assuredly a teacup day, so I used a lime green teacup with a sunny yellow saucer. How many times while in the kitchen I stop to admire the Fiestaware colors as they harmonize and make me smile at thier artistry. Wishing you a blessed Sunday, day of rest and day of worship of our God and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

"O come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD our maker. For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. Today if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your heart...." Psalm 95:6-8a.

Sounds like a great Sunday for you. I am trying to get my list of things done. I leave a week from Tuesday to go up NORTH to help my parents who are in their 80's move out West. Should be fun!!

Your rose bouquet sounds gorgeous Maggie and so is the rose sign you have posted (I've just had to print that out for a collage maybe) I can't believe that it is so chilly at yours that you need to drink christmas tee, while we are enjoying early summer weather over here.

Lucy gets herself in some pickles! Sometimes I've had to change the station because I dread feeling so sucked into her pain. Hahaha! She has to face the music but I can escape.
