Celebrating Christmas....did you ever stop to think how few times in our lives we have the occasion like this to celebrate our Saviour's birth? Like our birthdays...they will all be numbered under oh say...usually 80 years or less. Then, take into account the years of our childhood...years we weren't really aware of what was going on...say one year old to, I think I remember things most clearly from when I was around 9 or 10 years old. So that has given me approx. 47 Christmas' that I have been alive for. I never thought of that before....did you ever think each Christmas...will I be here to enjoy another one? It is such a joy....the Christmas story of God incarnate coming to be born of a virgin in the little town of Bethlehem. Well, I'm here this year *smile* and off to town to do more shopping and decorating...but not forgetting the Christ of the manger and of the Cross. Singing this song with my husband singing along in the background...*smile*...."Have you any room for Jesus, He who bore your load of sin?....As he knocks and asks admission, Sinner, will you let him in?.....Room for Jesus, King of glory! Hasten now His word obey; Swing the heart's door wide-ly open, Bid Him enter while you may." 'Have You Any Room for Jesus?'....C.C.Williams Blessings to You!! Posted by Picasa

Thank you Ms. Maggie for the beautiful hankie and card. You are such a dear friend. You outdid yourself on the artwork of the card and envelope! Thanks again

Yes. I have work to do for the Lord and I need to get going on that. There is a fear I have that I'll have wasted my time on earth and not pleased God. Maybe that is a wisdom then.

"It is such a joy....the Christmas story of God incarnate coming to be born of a virgin in the little town of Bethlehem."

And speaking of songs...There's a song stuck in my head today. 'Mary, did you know?' I sang it in the shower and now I keep going back to it. I usually have the humbugs before Christmas each year, but this year I have a JOY in my heart because I gave to God. And His gift to me, was JOY. Don't get me started or I'll sit here and cry through the rest of this post. What did I give? You'll have to wait to find out.

Do you have the Christmas Joy? I thought I was going to dread the christmas music over and over again, but I was wrong.

Have fun shopping!
