Look what I found while sorting through Mum's things. I had forgotten that I made us each one of these a while back. This was a quickie made with' heat and bond' for the applique. A cheerful little wall hanging! My Mum really enjoyed any kind of project...especially needlework. Her things always were special because she didn't worry about it being perfect..partly due to her ongoing mini-strokes and that gave lots of her things a 'country' charm that was original. Missing her today. Posted by Picasa

Let us count our blessings indeed. It's such a lovely little hanging..and what a nice gift to come across unaware. I treasure those moments of "hidden treasures revealed". Your posting was lovely, and I am in agreement. There is no other who knows our hearts, like the Father. Thank you for reminding us..Finn

Love this wall hanging, Maggie! Your mum must have been such a cheerful person, to have made items like this despite her illnesses.
