Just look at this sweet collage that came in today's mail...from Peggy at Hidden Haven Homestead. What a wonderful experience receiving these collages. It is a rare treat! Peggy, I love it...thankyou! The charms are so appealing....I think I could probably look at each item on here and make up a happy story about a girl who in make-believe wore this pretty dress. Thanks too for the other goodies you sent me...I won't name them lest I make someone jealous, that wouldn't do. A very special thanks to you Peggy! *big smiles here* Posted by Picasa

This is just beautiful, O.k. I have a question (a dumb one) I love collages, but what do you do with them, frame them? Put them in a scrapbook? I would think they would be too pretty to hide away in a book!! Just curious, all these collages have made me think...mmmm...wonder if I could do something like that!

Hello Miss Maggie, here I am with a mug of tea, recently back from the visitation. Thank you for your urging..*VBS*
I love the collage...Peggy is one talented gal..I especially love the old key..I have a fondness for old keys of all types..*S*
About the blogger account. Look up at the top of your main screen above your name, etc. It has a place to click that says "get blogger, or some such thing". It takes you to Dashboard, where you set up your blog site. A "blind" site, is one that the creator chooses to keep private..thus no posts to share, but they would still have an account and could leave comments. I think having an identity is what it's mostly about. At least I'm pretty sure that's how it works. Anyone else have more information for Miss Maggie, please jump in. Hugs for a chilly evening, Finn

Ms. Maggie, glad you liked the collage. I just don't have that good fuzzy feeling when I finish making one. I just can't seem to click with collages. Anyway as for your friend posting: go to your blogger dashboard, click on title of your blog, then click on settings. Once on settings click on comments. Scroll down to who can comment... click on anyone. Next make sure you scroll on down and click on use word verification or you will be loaded down with spam. This should help your non-blogging friends leave comments.

Thanks for the advice for my friend to be able to post comments. I have made it a habit not to allow anon comments since I read that spammers can flood and even destroy a blog if its easy to get on. I'm going to see if she will start a 'blind' site.
Lady Laurie...I'm thinking about how to enjoy the collages best to. Right now, I'm liking the idea of framing them and making a wall grouping of them above the nightstand light. For example...Peggy's and Melissa's will be attached to a complimentary color matboard inside a frame. (no glass) Perhaps I'll post a picture when I've gotten things the way I want them. I would try collage-ing if I were you. I love it. The scrapbooking papers are delightful, and there is so much license for creativity! I want to expand my scrapbooking (new at it too) to include excerpts from my favorite sites, jounaling...bits of collage..etc. I'll be by to visit you all later. Hubby's home today....we are still laying carpet and I am having 'time out'.

Peggy's collage is awfully pretty, and I agree, it's wonderfully girlyish! Love the pinks in it and the dress and little pretties on it is so sweet.

I'll have to go tell her!
