Something for Favorite Things Friday. This lovely picture frame is a little delight to me. Its not a very good picture of it, but the lighting in the entryway is not good. I get teased sometimes about my 'headless ladies'. There is one in the bathroom too, but I like them..and the way they display the old fashioned gowns. I just installed? A new Compaq trackball optical mouse with the help of our son and I really like it. Its got 5 buttons, 2 are on the sides. We set one to instantly open a new web browser...and the other to automatically 'backtrack' to the last pages I visited. Verrrry nice! I've gotten some ironing done today and floor scrubbing, which is always pleasant once its done. Tonight its off to the funeral home...and stopping to shop for a few handtowels I would like to get. I've finally gotten the idea that if I buy and use all the same color in the bathroom, I'll not be ending up with one blue one and one pink at the sink. They will finally all match! I haven't been able to get around and visit your blogs, but I have that to look forward to and I do...Believe me! I love my blog friends! Hope to come visiting soon. Don't you just love those calling cards they used to leave back in the fashionably conscious 'old days'? I do. Well, I've made an admirable attempt to do my duty today around the house, so with a clear conscience I quote a bit of Thomas Carlyle...."Our main business is not to see what lies dimly at a distance, but to do what lies clearly at hand." Trouble is, the list of to-do's just keeps growing. Oh well, sufficient unto the day is the....well, lets not go there. I prefer to be a little bit like Pollyanna, don't you!.....*smiles*
