This was a find at the antique mall the other day. For only a dollar, the Lady in Red now lives at my house. Yesterday hubby and I stopped at the knit shop (the one thats on a wicked curve in the road). I figured if he didn't wreck getting out of the place, maybe I wouldn't either should I choose to drive up. Hmmm, I'll have to be brave, but the ideas' cooking. Anyway, the ladies in the shop were so cordial, I loved it....a tour of the different kinds of wonderful yarn, would you believe a yarn made from camels hair? And the colors of it were sheer art. The one lady that was teacher, came to meet me and gave me alot of absolutely wonderful, (free) advice on my knitting problem and I think I just found my new yarn home. Words fail to convey how cheery I feel about this. More to come later I hope. I just tidied up the house and need to press on. Hubby is home today, and will be back to work on framing out the new kitchen door soon. Its going to look more seemly if I am practising Bach instead of online. Besides, that is lovely to do too. Did you know its snowing in Australia today? That makes me think of God and how wondrous are his ways. Job 38:22 "Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow?" At the end of the book of Job, I have penciled in a few notes from our former Pastor, ...."Tests don't make sense to us. Job was puzzled when testing came, Job repented that he had a mistrust of God at the end of the book of Job......Walk by faith-trust God-God is not like anyone you know--God is God--. When trials come....never lose sight of God's promises. Focus on God and not the problems. "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee". Hebrews 13:5 How thankful I am to be saved, and have this God be a living part of my life. Posted by Picasa
