A close-up of my Grandma Moses print above the piano. Her real name was Anna Mary Robertson. She was born on a farm in upstate New York 2 months before Abraham Lincoln was elected presidentof the United States. She began to paint when she was in her 70's, became popular in her 80's and was a celebrity by the time she was 90. She passed away in 1961 at the age of 101. She is greatly admired by me and I love her paintings !

I'm not familiar with this particular print, but I love it. The checkered house is so cheery. Almost looks like it could have been a fabric piece. And I never did know her full name. Thank you for sharing.
